Economic simulation tools provide Members with a sandbox to test economic ideas, protocols, and theories before proposing a change to the running economy itself.

These simulation environments are vital for Members to test ideas and learn about economic interactions beforehand.

Overview

Terms:

DHO = Decentralised Holonic/Human Organism: These are organisational structures within SEEDS that allow us to govern payouts on-chain (securely, transparently, and governed by the Citizens).

G-DHO = Global DHOs: These are the organisations that make up the SEEDS Commons.

R-DHO = Regional DHOs: These are the organisations that represent regional groups of Citizens within SEEDS.

Planted = Seeds that are locked out and currently not in circulation. This is similar to how term-deposits work in banks.

Burned = Seeds that are destroyed that cycle.

Initial state: Use the right panel to enter all the economic conditions for each major section

Click the arrow at the bottom right to run 1 economic cycle (in SEEDS' case, this is a lunar cycle)

Explore how many Seeds are given out to the people within SEEDS based on their contribution scores

Explore how many Seeds are given out to organisations within SEEDS based on their contribution scores

Explore how many Seeds are given out to the Regions (collections of people within SEEDS serving a common regenerative purpose) within SEEDS based on their contribution scores

Explore how many Seeds are given out to Commons Organisations within SEEDS based on what percentage of the Global Budget each organisation is assigned

Explore trends over multiple economic cycles

Create, save, and load a variety of simulations made by yourself or others

Organisations = Any business or organisation account within SEEDS. to set up your org account.

QEV = Qualifying Ecosystem Volume: This is similar to GDP (gross domestic products) that current economic systems use to measure economic activity. Since transactions are free within SEEDS this measurement could be easily abused if there aren't some "qualifiers" that limit which transactions are considered to best measure changes in real economic activity. For all qualifiers see the .
