# Tokens

Tokens help Members create new methods of tracking, exchanging, and distributing information and value. 

### Main types of tokens within SEEDS:

1. **Currencies and Assets** (Such as Seeds)
   1. Can be purchased and sold. 
   2. Used to exchange and distribute value amongst Members.
2. **Governance** (Such as "Trust Tokens")
   1. Cannot be purchased or sold; only earned. 
   2. Used to distribute voice and governance rights amongst Members.
3. **Coordination Points** (Such as "Regenerative Contribution Scores" and "Gratitude") 
   1. Cannot be purchased or sold; only earned. 
   2. Used to distribute and track the value of Members as they contribute in a myriad of ways to our Regenerative Civilization
