Trust tokens give Members a tool to more accurately and equitably distribute voice amongst each-other to make decisions as an economy. 

Each Member contributes and is committed to SEEDS at varying degrees (and thus variably affected by the outcomes of decisions made within SEEDS), Trust Tokens are a tool to more equitably track and distribute voice based on levels of contribution and the impact potential governance decisions may have on the Member.
