For the Love of Land
Our approach to economics is simple.
First, we believe that the foundation of all value comes from land, life and living beings (without life there would be no value).
Second, we believe that the more life any particular region of land can support the more valuable that land becomes.
Third, we believe the happier and more abundant the inhabitants of that land are, and the more others want to live there, the move valuable that land becomes.
For these reasons ReGen Civics exists to bring land into shared stewardship of the network (grow how much land we're stewarding) and regenerate the land and the lives of all those living with the land by co-creating communities that are continually more fun, growth-inducing, vibrant, healthy, meaningful, and joyful places to live and love. The land and the communities we grow on them is the foundation for all value in the ReGen Civics ecosystem.
The healthier we can make our land (healthier soil, water, air, forests, etc), the more valuable it is. This is where ALL value comes from.
The more beautiful we make our communities, the more valuable they become to live in. This is our foundation, the real-estate value of the land we're stewarding in the network.
Additionally our network will have 2 primary "exports" to bring in consistent revenue for land projects.
FOOD: Regenerative (better than organic) food produced in our Food Forests (lower maintenance) for ourselves and for export. All projects within ReGen Civics will have an increasingly productive food forest.
HOSPITALITY: Retreats, educational courses, etc are a typical offering amongst land projects as they're typically prototyping a novel structures (growing food, culture, housing, funding opportunities, legal structures, etc) for their region that other inhabitants of their region (such as a project in rural Appalachia supporting other projects in rural Appalachia) could benefit from. So, our first land projects are also our "Pilot Projects" to help others.
Secondary value in the network is through a partial stake in all alliance organisations and the technologies or offerings made by them. So, should any of our tech alliance organisations achieve global success and their tokens become incredibly valuable, then the tokens owned by ReGen Civics increase in value as well. In this way ReGen Civics behaves similar to a VC (venture capital) firm (an organisation that invests in many different organisations) in that the Alliance is co-invested in all other alliance organisations.
Token Details
Simply put, $RCivics role is to represent how much a Player has contributed to our Infinite Game. The more we contribute to our goals the more tokens we earn.
$RCivics token is different from the R-Voice token. Meaning we've intentionally separated the token the controls governance with the token that can be traded, bought, sold and represents a stake in the financial value of the network. In this way people can own more/less financial stake in the network without it affecting the Voice you've earned in governance. We believe this move is critical in avoiding re-creating failed Oligarchies (governance by the wealthy).
$RCivics token is a "Contribution Accounting" token. LEGALLY SPEAKING, all contributions (money and otherwise) are DONATIONS to the ReGen Civics spiritual ministry and our spiritual purpose in regenerating our planet. Tokens are just our way of tracking contributions. This is done so that we can explore novel governance mechanisms outside the confines of traditional organisational and legal structures offered by nation states today.
Changing the legal nature of tokens would require an 80% unity vote by R-Voice holders and 3 notices to all token holders.
GAME OVER
The Infinite Game is designed to never end.
However, if for whatever reason a member feels we have failed our mission they may initiate a "GAME OVER" proposal.
If the "GAME OVER" proposal passes with 90% Unity (People/Voice who vote yes vs no) and 50% Quorum (how many People/Voice overall needs to vote) then the Game ends and all assets are distributed proportionally to all $RCivics holders. This is what "backs" $RCivics: Simply a promise to distribute all liquid assets proportionally should the Game ever end (WHICH IS NOT THE GOAL).

What we consider a contribution is always up to the decision of the People/Voice holders as any member of ReGen Civics may bring a proposal.
Evolutionary
What other benefits, rights, powers, abilities, responsibilities, and more our tokens represent is yet to be co-created.
This is a central economic tenet of our Infinite Game - innovating new ways to coordinate and co-create value together for the benefit of all life on earth.
In this way, we can continue to evolve what our token means as we play the Game.
